Metal Chairs
PEDS Plastic-tipped metal bar chairs are compliant to AS2425:2015, commonly known as wire chairs or spider chairs. These protective-tipped reinforcing metal bar chairs are designed to be strong and stable through various applications, suitable for suspended slabs, to support reinforcing bars and mesh. They enable the reinforcing to be placed at the correct cover, from the surface as specified by the design engineer. The leg tips are coated in a heavy-duty plastic to prevent corrosion and concrete cancer, which can severely compromise the integrity of the reinforcing within the structure. PEDS stock a comprehensive range of sizes from 20mm to 400mm high.
